Shabbat Parsha Quiz

We are continuing our new Parsha Quiz initiative this week. We have been getting some great feedback so please encourage your children to participate and take their completed answer sheets to Dan Lefel orย ย Dalia Grossย for a great prize!


Youth Program

On Shabbat morning there will be a Tefilat Yeladim at 10:00-10:20 in the shul's mirpeset for gan chova – 2nd Grade.ย 


We opened a quiet WhatsApp group for posting activities for children and youth in our community. Kids, youth and parents are welcome to join the group


Shiur for Women – Bereaved Parents in Tanach

Adina Suslovich will be giving a 10-part series for women Sunday mornings at 10:15 am in Selesny Hall, starting Nov 3rdย titled,ย Bereaved Parents in Tanach – Narratives that deal with parents who lost children.ย 

The last two Shiurim will be on February 9th and 16th, nothing before then

Rav Chagai's Tanach Shiur Returns
Rav Chagai Tanach Shiur, given in English, resumes on Sunday with Sefer Yirmiyahu.
The Shiur will be in the shul at 8:30 p.m. on the following Sundays:

Rav Chagai's Iyun Gemorah shiur continues on Tuesday nights at 8:30 p.m. The shiur is studying the Perek of Eilu Metziyut in Baba Metziah.

Nach Yomi for Womenย 

There is a daily Nach Chabura for women, following the schedule of the OU's Nach Yomi calendar.ย  It takes place in the women's Beitย Medrash.ย  Please bring a tanach.ย  All levelsย areย welcome!ย WhatsApp Groupย for the Shiur

Bet Midrash for Women

The classroom upstairs is undergoing a renovation and has become a Beit Midrash for women. Bring a friend or learn alone. You can go anytime, no need to sign up, but there is aย sign-up sheet to encourage everyone to try to find 45 minutes or an hour (or more!) weekly to learn there. This initiative is in memory of Yosef Malachi ben David Guedalia HY”D.


Beit Shemesh Morning Beit Medrash

Beit Shemesh morning Beit Medrash program is open Sunday-Thursday beginning at 9am. Learn whatever you want or join the Tzurba program learning hilchot Shabbat. Come for the learning and stay for the coffee!

Note: For security purposes we are trying to keep the front door of the shul locked between minyanim. To enter the shul during those times please use one of the side doors with the code. Please do not unlock the front door during those times.

Mi Sheberach for the wounded security forces

During chazarat ha'shatz, we will be giving out to each of the men and women in shul 3-4 names of wounded IDF soldiers and security forces. When the gabbai says the Mi Sheberach L'Cholim between Hagbah and the HafTorah everyone will say the names of the wounded on his list, and so – as a community – we willย Daven together for all the wounded.
