Shabbat Parsha Quiz

We are continuing our new Parsha Quiz initiative this week. We have been getting some great feedback so please encourage your children to participate and take their completed answer sheets to Dan Leffel or Dalia Gross for a great prize!


Youth Program
A reminder that all Gan Chova – second grade children are welcome to our special tefilat yeladim. If your child is not within this age group please do not send them, it can be disruptive to the program.

On Shabbat morning there will be a Tefilat Yeladim at 10:00-10:20 in the shul's mirpeset for gan chova – 2nd Grade. 


We opened a quiet WhatsApp group for posting activities for children and youth in our community. Kids, youth and parents are welcome to join the group
Elul Chabura
Just in time for Elul, the Tzurba M'Rabanan chaburah, Sun-Thurs in the BMTL Bet Midrash from 9-10:15 am, is starting a brand new Sefer next week. Please join the Chaburah, or come to the Bet Midrash for your own learning with some fresh coffee. Please contact Aryeh Sova at 058-688-4398 if you have any questions.

Rav Chaggai's Tanach Shiur
Rav Chaggai's Tanach Shiur in Sefer Yirmiyahu, given in English on Sunday

Rav Chaggai's Iyun Gemarah shiur continues on Tuesday nights at 8:30 p.m. The shiur is studying the Perek of Eilu Metziyut in Baba Metziah.

Nach Yomi for Women

The Nach Yomi Women's Chabura meets every morning at 9:30 a.m. as well as 6:00 p.m. on Shabbat in the women's Bet Midrash.

We welcome new members (occasionally or daily)!
The daily Nach Chabura follows the schedule of the OU.

Please bring a tanach. All levels are welcome!

WhatsApp Group for the Shiur

Bet Midrash for Women

Our shul has a Bet Midrash for women, which is located in the large classroom upstairs, and was dedicated in memory of Yosef Malachi ben David Guedalia HY”D.  We welcome women to make use of it at all times. Please be respectful of the fact that this space has been dedicated as a place for women to learn. 


Bet Shemesh Morning Bet Medrash

Bet Shemesh morning Bet Midrash program is open Sunday-Thursday beginning at 9 a.m. Learn whatever you want or join the Tzurba program learning hilchot Shabbat. Come for the learning and stay for the coffee!

Misheberach for the wounded security forces

During chazarat ha'shatz, we will be giving out to each of the men and women in shul 3-4 names of wounded IDF soldiers and security forces. When the gabbai says the Misheberach L'Cholim between Hagbah and the Haftorah everyone will say the names of the wounded on his list, and so – as a community – we will Daven together for all the wounded.

Shamos

Please be aware that BMTL does *not* have a shamos (geniza) drop off point. There are bins located around the city. Thank you for your cooperation

Assistance

If anyone knows of anyone who is sick, or unable to get out of the house for some reason, they should please contact Ruthie Lehrer at 052 813-7906 or Dalia Gross at 052 238-7547 to assist them and organise visiting.

חידון פרשת השבוע

השבוע אנו ממשיכים ביוזמת חידון פרשת השבוע החדשה שלנו. קיבלנו משוב נהדר, אז אנא עודדו את ילדיכם להשתתף ולהעביר את דפי התשובות המלאים שלהם לדן לפל או  לדליה גרוס כדי לקבל פרס! 


תוכנית הנוער
תזכורת שכל ילדי גן חובה עד כיתה ב’ מוזמנים לתפילת הילדים המיוחדת שלנו. אם ילדכם אינו בטווח גילאים זה, אנא אל תשלחו אותו, שכן הדבר עלול להפריע לתוכנית
בשבת בבוקר תתקיים תפילת ילדים בשעה 10:00-10:20 במרפסת של בית הכנסת לגן חובה – כיתה ב.
פתחנו קבוצת וואטסאפ שקטה בשביל הודעות על אירועים לילדים ונוער בקהילה. ילדים, בני נוער והורים מוזמנים

אלול חבורה

בדיוק בזמן לאלול, חבורת צורבא מרבנן תתחיל ספר חדש בשבוע הבא. הלימוד מתקיים בימים ראשון עד חמישי בבית המדרש במת”ל בין השעות 9:00–10:15 בבוקר.  
מוזמנים להצטרף לחבורה, או לבוא לבית המדרש ללימוד עצמאי עם כוס קפה טרי.

שיעור לנשים – השכול בתנ”ך

חבורת נ”ך היומי לנשים חוגגת את סיום נביאים אחרונים. אנחנו מזמינות משתתפות חדשות להצטרף ללימוד היומי (גם אם לא תצליחי להגיע כל יום זה בסדר!) כשאנחנו מתחילות ללמוד ספר כתובים במוצאי שבת
הלימוד מתקיים בבית המדרש לנשים מדי בוקר בשעה 9:30 ובשבת ב-18:00

בית מדרש לנשים

בבית הכנסת שלנו יש בית מדרש לנשים שנמצא בכיתה הגדולה בקומה העליונה, והוא הוקדש לזכרו של יוסף מלאכי בן דוד גדליה הי”ד. אנו מזמינים נשים ללמוד שמה בכל עת. אנא כבדו את העובדה שהמרחב הזה מוקדש כמקום למידה לנשים.

מי שברך לכוחות הביטחון הפצועים

במהלך חזרת הש”ץ, נחלק לכל אחד מהגברים והנשים בבית הכנסת 3-4 שמות של פצועי צה”ל וכוחות הבטחון. כשהגבאי אומר את מי שברך לחולים, בין הגבה להפטרה, כולם יאמרו את השמות של הפצועים ברשימתו, וכך – כקהילה – נתפלל יחד עבור כל הפצועים.

תכנית בית המדרש של בית שמש

תכנית בית המדרש של בית שמש מתחילה ביום ראשון, בבית מדרש תורני לאומי. ימים ראשון עד חמישי, או חלק מהימים, מתי שאתה יכול, 9 בבוקר. למד מה שאתה רוצה, נדאג לך לחברותא אם תרצה, או הצטרף לתוכנית “צורבא” ללימוד הלכות שבת. בואו ללמוד ולהישאר לקפה!

על מנת לשפר את התקשורת עם הקהילה פתחנו קבוצת ווטסאפ להודעות. הקבוצה מיועדת רק להודיע לציבור באופן שוטף על עדכונים. רק מנהלי הקבוצה יוכלו לשלוח הודעות. אנו מצ״ב הלינק להצטרפות לקבוצה

בהמשך לרצוננו להקל על ציבור המתפללים, נפתח אתר אינטרנט ייעודי לתשלומים לבית הכנסת. עכשיו ניתן להעביר תרומות בצורה מקוונת באתר
