BMTL Mishloach Manot Project

BMTL's annual Mishloach Manot fundraiser is back! This year, due to the ongoing war and the positive feedback we’ve received from last year's Mishloach Manot event, we will continue to do things a little differently.

What's the same? As in the past, the cost of participation is 120 shekels, with participants listed with the Mishloach Manot, and a portion of the money raised benefiting the shul. The project will build Achdut and Achva within the BMTL community, as every year.

What’s different? This year the project aims to spread warmth and love from our community to our beautiful Chayalim who have been working extra hard since Simchat Torah. To this end, instead of distributing the Mishloach Manot packages to members of the BMTL community, they will be shared with Chayalim. The youth in our shul will be preparing Mishlochei Manot for Chayalim and Chayalot as a gesture of love, appreciation, and support.

How does it work? To participate, please follow this link, complete the registration form, and payment details will be sent to you. Please note that the deadline for participation is Friday, February 28th, Rosh Chodesh Adar. Please be in touch with Elyssa Aftel via WhatsApp at 0542287120 if your child is currently serving as we aim to prioritize distribution to divisions of the chayalim from our neighborhood.

The community will be invited to bake cookies or cakes that will be included in the Mishlochei Manot and the youth of the shul will be invited to decorate and package them. If anyone would like to sponsor extra Mishlochei Manot please be in touch with Elyssa directly. Stay tuned for more details!
